Ideas
#PostOne
Lately I've been listening to podcasts a lot. I mean, literally a lot. It's a great alternative to just listening to your same favourite music, which at times drags you into memories associated with them or the new ones make you anxious or hopeful or dreamy about your coming future.
So, I realised listening to music is a great hobby but it doesn't need to take a huge part of your free time. Whereas these podcasts, available on variety of topics and in different languages, entertain you and also provide you with facts and ideas you weren't aware of before. You'll be knowing about new eminent people or new concepts in your spare time.
You can just put on your headphones and listen to these audio tracks while you do your chores which don't require your utmost attention. I hear these when I'm making my food ready or when I'm taking a light walk on my terrace or when I'm too lazy to read.
The first idea which I am noting down is from the podcast titled ' Naval' .
So the main host says something like this.
' we need to be impatient when trying out a new idea/starting any new task but should be patient enough for their results to come'
I do agree with him on these lines. As it happens with most of us we don't get back to the work/ideas we keep postponing to some other day. That some other fine day never happens to come and even when it does we aren't left with the zeal and excitement we had when we had first conceived the idea.
Then with an input of low interest the output will be below our expectations which again disheartens us and we fail to work on any new ideas which pass across our heads in the next coming days. This same vicious cycle continues and all our ideas are dusted off under our carpet of low confidence and laziness.
The first step indeed needs to be taken as soon as the idea sprouts in our mind. And from then all the next steps can be taken with proper thinking and reasoning. Most often than not impatience is the key to get started, otherwise it will be just one more idea buried without seeing the daylight along with the innumerable others.
And when the time of the results near, patience keeps our boat afloat.
Results and patience are better partners when the outcome isn't under our control.
So be impatient followed by showing your skills of patience in pursuing your ideas.
Keep shinning! Love! 🥰
